Lost & Kept Archive, 2020 ongoing.

As part of the project ‘How to make when you have lost’ I generated illustrations directly from people within design, fashion, art industry as well as friends who described items that had lost and ones that had kept but did not wear. Some of the drawings were worked from photographs, others from my imagination of the description. This helped to accumulate a visual archive instead of being solely text based. I drew them on a concertina binding due to the enclosing nature of it. For it to be a display item, yet easily compacted away if you want to close off one item from viewing.
