Oversized Shirt

A restyle of the shirt from the ‘Inanimate Placement’ Collection originally made for Peckahm Craft Show. Seen here in printmaking scrim and a sand-washed silk button front, mandarin collar and cuffs featuring porcelain buttons.

A unisex shape which is intentionally oversized.

Cropped Shirt with Lapels

Modelled here in a raw silk with an optional patch top pocket. A boxy fit, slightly cropped with a three quarter length sleeve and a drop shoulder. No cuffs and no but they can be added upon request. Featuring lapels with a facing for that extra little bit of support.

Cut Away Shirt

A classic semi-fitted shirt from the top half giving way to a wider fit from the waist with a cut away front. Perfect to pair over high-waisted skirts and trousers. Seen here in a soft delicate cotton and horn buttons. Sleeves finish at the wrists with a cuff and placket, the collar has no stand for a more relaxed look.

Shirt Design Choices

All our shirts are sewn with flat felled seams and hand finished around the facing and collar areas. Different collar, cuff, neckline, and pocket choices can be added to the house styles for you to design your own shirt.

Wedding Outfits

A bespoke wedding commission. We designed a two piece outfit featuring a jacket in a relaxed fit with a concealed button stand and a straight high waisted skirt. The main fabrics a silk/linen blend, sand washed silk lining, with mother of pearl buttons. Raglan sleeves with a pleated neckline, waist belt tie and all hand sewn finished. We did an initial toile calico fitting and second baste fitting before it was all hand finished for a final fitting.

Japanese Wool Overskirt Wrap

The Overskirt apron, is made from a beautiful Japanese wool & linen blend with a beautiful drapey handle and brushed texture for a washed and crumpled look. Two panels with long ties to weave into one another and tie on each side with a bow. Side patch pocket and front double jetted pocket. Loose style and worn layering over trousers, skirts or dresses, or with the extra panel can be worn as a full skirt. Perfect for making or layering. Mid calf length, sits on waist.

A wearable apron garment or a protection for making? Coming in six different colour palettes and made out of a beautiful Japanese wool, the choice is yours. Made using bespoke tailoring techniques it comes as two panels to wrap around you and can include an extra panel to complete as a full skirt. A Smocked dress made from raw silk in a slub pattern design, this unique dress has been hand smocked with tie at the back making perfectly adjustable. Hand embroidered cloth made in India, designed from a scrap of vintage cloth. Eyelets fix you in at the back with a tie at the bottom, made to fit or wear looser but celebrating your shape with a flare.
